Zusammenfassung

Mehrkomponentenreaktionen (MCRs) sind von großer Bedeutung in der organischen Synthese. Sie verringern oft die Anzahl der Syntheseschritte, da drei oder mehr Reaktanten in einem einzigen Schritt im Produkt eingebaut werden. Dies erhöht die Anzahl der kombinatorischen Optionen und ermöglicht effizientere Prozesse in kürzerer Zeit. Die Pharmaindustrie ist daher sehr an MCRs für den Aufbau von Bibliotheken interessiert. Infolgedessen wird das Gebiet intensiv untersucht, um chemische Prozesse zu verbessern und neue Arten von MCRs zu entdecken.
Die Kombination der Vorteile von Durchflusstechnologie und MCRs für die Heterocyclensynthese ist ein interessantes und spezialisiertes Feld. Dieses Kapitel dient als Übersicht über die Literatur zu diesem Thema ab 2010, bis die Literatur zu diesem Thema in einem Buchkapitel in dieser Buchreihe von Cukalovic et al. (Top Heterocycl Chem 23:161–198, 2010) überprüft wird.
